The next step
in Polestar's Evolution

Precept is both ambitious and logical. The next step for Polestar, not a leap. It combines sustainable materials that can already be produced, technology that is under development, and a design language that is futuristic yet realistic. We’ve borrowed from tomorrow. Not fifty years from now.

Support and protection from every angle. The Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) uses 1 mid-range radar, 11 exterior cameras and 12 ultrasonic sensors to monitor the car’s surroundings. The system can instantly evaluate potential safety issues, ready to issue warnings and intervene if necessary.

The electrochromic film adds a layer of liquid crystals to the glass of the panoramic roof to reduce glare. By activating it via the center display, the glass can turn from opaque to transparent, reflecting light or allowing it to pass through.

The low center of gravity, balanced weight distribution, structural stiffness and carefully tuned suspension components result in a confidence-inspiring chassis and enhanced steering response.

The near future
of automotive

The Polestar Precept's exterior was clearly influenced by aerospace design, both aesthetically and aerodynamically. Rather than resort to outlandish wings or spoilers, the concept features integrated rear lights that double as air blades.

The next step
in Polestar's Evolution

The Precept doesn't just exist to create desire (though it certainly does that). It exists to show that there's a new paradigm when it comes to the sports car. Merging art with technology, and performance. Experience pure, progressive performance designed, developed, and tuned, by Polestar.

Performance wheels
and Brembo Brakes

Engineered for increased performance, the 22-inch 4-Multi spoke wheels are forged instead of cast, making them lighter and stronger than conventional alloys. The signature design is created with a Polestar-patented laser-etching process, using less energy than traditional cutting methods.

Increased space
and visibility

Continuing a key design element of Polestar Precept, Polestar 4 benefits from not having a rear window. It allows for an extended panoramic roof, a spacious passenger environment, and generous headroom, while a rear-facing HD camera provides a wider, unobstructed rearward view.

Aerodynamic feature
integrated design

A low, sleek front. Air curtains below the headlights. Rear side aero blades. Flush glazing and door handles. A completely flat floor. All aerodynamic features are integrated design elements, working in unison to minimize drag and maximize range and performance.

Optimal comfort
and support

Up to 8-way adjustable sports seats in the front. Electric recliner seats in the rear. Polestar 4 has been designed with a focus on ergonomics, providing optimal comfort and support no matter the length of the journey or the style of driving.

Flax fiber composites
Organic technology

Occasionally, something from sci-fi is possible to replicate in real-life. Based on innovations from the footwear industry, this fabric is knitted to fit, using yarn made from 100% recycled PET bottles. The resulting high-quality material minimizes waste without compromising the look and feel.

Sophisticated
yet intuitive

Always see what needs to be seen. The car's displays automatically adapt to the ambient light for optimal readability. The sophisticated yet intuitive interface ensures information is presented without distraction.

Innovation
of Tomorrow

Stiff, responsive, and incredibly light. The unibody of the Polestar Precept is made from different grades of anodized aluminum, bonded by adhesive, and oven cured with a focus on the strength-to-weight ratio. Apart from enhancing the performance, bonded aluminum allows for more design flexibility, while maintaining the detail and precision which has been a Polestar hallmark from the very beginning.
